Collect A Con is an exciting event that brings together enthusiasts of collectibles, toys, and pop culture. This unique convention offers a platform for fans to explore a wide range of exhibits, meet fellow collectors, and engage with industry professionals. Scheduled for December 20, 2026, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, this event promises to be a highlight for collectors in the Los Angeles area.
The Los Angeles Convention Center has hosted numerous events over the years, making it a familiar venue for many attendees. With its spacious layout and modern facilities, it is well-suited for large gatherings like Collect A Con. The event will feature various exhibits and activities that cater to all ages, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere filled with excitement and discovery.
As part of the convention experience, attendees can expect to see a variety of collectibles ranging from vintage toys to contemporary memorabilia. The event is designed to create a positive live performance vibe, encouraging interaction among guests and exhibitors alike. Collect A Con is not just about buying and selling; it's about celebrating the culture of collecting.
The Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) is primarily a convention and exhibition venue, offering over 720,000 square feet of flexible space across its various halls. Unlike traditional arenas with fixed seating, the LACC adapts its layout based on the specific needs of each event. For Collect A Con, attendees can expect a general admission setup that allows for open walking floors and easy access to exhibits.
The best approach for securing a good spot near the exhibits is to arrive early, as seating arrangements can vary significantly from one event to another. While there are no permanent sections or rows, the spacious concourses and accessible entry points enhance the overall experience at the venue.
Parking at the LACC is strictly paid; there is no free parking available. The venue operates on a cashless system, accepting only credit or debit cards. On-site parking rates typically range from $30–$40, depending on the event and garage used. The three official garages—West Hall Garage, South Hall Garage, and Venice Garage—are conveniently located near the entrances.
It is advisable to avoid parking during peak hours as spots fill quickly during major events. For those looking to skip parking stress entirely, consider using public transportation options such as the Metro E and A Lines to Pico Station, located directly across from the venue.
Prices currently start around $40, making this an accessible event for collectors in the Los Angeles area at the Los Angeles Convention Center on December 20, 2026.
